Project I Devlog
Creating Project I, a game prototype, has been a challenging and rewarding experience for its creator. The creator has put in a lot of hard work and dedication to develop the game and make it engaging for players. However, there have been some setbacks and challenges along the way that have put the creator down for a couple of days. To overcome these challenges, the creator may have:
- Focused on developing the core loop first before adding any extra features to create a high-quality and efficient prototype.
- Created successive prototypes, each focusing on one specific aspect of the game, and evaluated the results.
- Built a playable prototype as fast as possible, cut corners, and made it as ugly and cheap as possible to reduce the time it takes to create a prototype.
- Made the prototype easy to change to adjust on the fly.
- Practiced building a paper or code prototype of a game concept to improve prototyping skills.
Despite the challenges, the creator has remained motivated and focused on the goal of creating a successful game that players enjoy. The creator may have gathered a kickass team and an inspiring workspace, set a well-defined goal, and celebrated small wins along the way
. By putting in the effort to create a high-quality game prototype, the creator can increase the chances of the game getting picked up for development and ultimately becoming a successful game that players enjoy and generates revenue for their company, OG Mask Games
